Q- How do I begin services for myself or my loved one?
A- Simply call us now at (352) 298-1622 to talk with a New Day Healthcare team member. We are available 24-hours to assist you and begin planning your care.
Q- What are the different types of home-care and what services do we provide?
A- The first are healthcare professionals who provide medical care in the home according to the orders of a doctor. These can include social workers, physical therapists and nurses.
The second are caregivers who serve as companions, homemakers and aides. They are there to help with non-medical tasks and activities. Our Caregivers can help an older person with day to day living activities, a family member recovering from surgery or other medical treatment, or a busy Mom or Dad needing assistance with errands or childcare activities.
We provide non-medical type of caregiving. We make sure you and your loved one have peace of mind knowing that the everyday wants and needs are being attended to.
Because every situation is different, New Day Homehealth can help determine the level of in-home care that your loved one or parent needs. As those needs change, services can be either increased or decreased.
Q- Is the agency licensed as home health, home services, home nursing or home services/home nursing employment agency?
A- New Day Homehealth is licensed as a home services agency.
Q- Have the caregivers had thorough background checks?
A- All New Day Healthcare caregivers must have a criminal background check.
We do not employ caregivers found to have:
Disqualifying criminal convictions
Substantiated findings of physical or sexual abuse, neglect or financial exploitation
